A little HOUSEKEEPING

I had every intention of starting this blog to keep friends and family updated with news of our adoption. Well, Tate is home and I am still going. I don't have plans to stop at this point...mostly because I know it keeps my dad entertained throughout the day. I figured, however, that I should probably scale back to just one site. Basically, I need to know if you want to continue following. And yes, I am still keeping it private. If you want access, please send me an email or add a comment letting me know. No hard feelings if you are just plain bored or are tired of seeing pictures of my kids! :)

Why Adopt?

Reece's Rainbow

There are children all over the world in need of a family, love, and basic care. Many of these children have disabilities and are placed in mental institutions at the age of 4 or 5. In these places the children rarely live past the age of 10 and most die within the first year. Will you help to spread the word to raise funds and families for orphans with disabilities? Please visit Reece's Rainbow and see how your donation- however large or small- can help a child find a family. Look a little harder and you just might find the calling for one of them to be your own.

If finances aren't a way you can help, please look across their photos and say a prayer that each one will find their forever family soon. Reece's Rainbow is an International Down Syndrome Orphan Ministry which also advocates for orphans with other disabilities across the globe. You never know, your own post may be one that finds a family for one of these precious children.
